刘兴伟，工学博士，长聘副教授，博士生导师，主要围绕新型撞击释能结构材料开展研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金（C类）、XX领域基金、XX预研项目等国家级项目6项。作为骨干参与了创新项目，配套项目等。在Adv. Powder Mater.，Acta Mater.，Mater. Des.等学术期刊上发表论文30余篇，授权国家发明专利10余项。担任《Applied Sciences》特刊客座编辑，Results in Engineering，Defence Technology，JMST,《稀有金属材料与工程》中、英文版等期刊审稿人。
